Montessori bookshelf KUMPU is a new, innovative multipurpose furniture that encourages children to learn independently, while not ignoring the importance of play. Fitwood has designed it to foster children’s need for knowledge and learning, and to support their autonomous growth.

Based on the Montessori philosophy, KUMPU is a bookshelf at children’s height. On the front, children have easy access and the opportunity to discover their favorite books. On the other side of the “hill” is a child-sized desk, ideal for practicing various activities that develop children’s attention, concentration and motor skills. Because play plays an important role in the development of children, you can always crawl through the tunnel to adventure in the fairy-tale realm of your favorite book.

KUMPU is a Montessori bookshelf made of high-quality birch plywood, which comes from sustainable production in the EU. The piece of furniture for children is available in natural birch or white lacquered.
