When the jug is placed back on the table, the lid closes again. The characteristic cover makes the carafe easier to handle, helps to maintain the temperature of the contents and absorbs condensation to prevent stains on the kitchen table. The cover is made of neoprene and has a textured textile surface. The glass and metal parts are dishwasher-safe. The cover is washable at 30 °C.
